Blog Entry 1

I have been thinking the theme for my website. I find it hard to start building a theme when we have all the options in the world open for us. Ideas I thought of first were design and fashion. I think it would be easy to create a visually very interesting portfolio around those themes. Then again, the topics feel very common and I would like to do something more personal.

In order to get some new ideas I flicked through ‘old photos’ and found some very interesting ones of snow and winter. That got me thinking I might do my website about snow. I love creative writing and as such I would love to create a narrative and write some poems and snow fits in well. Snow has so many different shapes and forms, it would be fun to try and describe it.

It is also possible to make images of it very interesting by utilising Photoshop which I am slowly learning all the time. I would also love to include some flash animations. Other interests of mine like snowboarding and travelling could also easily be added to that theme.

For the first week I just decided to come up with one possible theme and get some ideas and feedback and see if something starts developing from it.
